About CalcDaily
CalcDaily is an independent online tools project built to make everyday calculations easier to understand and use. We bring practical calculators together in one place, with no account required to use the tools.
Who We Are
CalcDaily is an independent web project developed and maintained by Marcelo Frazão. He is responsible for the website’s implementation, calculator interfaces, technical maintenance, and the explanations published with the tools. The work behind the site is software development: building browser interfaces, connecting inputs to calculation logic, presenting results clearly, and maintaining the pages as the project evolves. We do not present CalcDaily as a medical clinic, financial institution, accounting practice, law firm, or a source of licensed professional advice.
We prefer to be clear about that distinction. A useful calculator can help someone understand a number or compare scenarios, but the existence of a result does not mean that the result is a professional recommendation or that it applies to every person's circumstances.
As the site’s individual developer and operator, Marcelo Frazão reviews page behavior, updates the code, and considers correction requests. This is a hands-on software project rather than a claimed team of specialists: the same person responsible for the site maintains its implementation and published explanations. We do not claim that every tool has been independently audited or professionally certified. CalcDaily is not presented as a team of doctors, accountants, financial analysts, or other licensed specialists. Where a tool touches a regulated or high-impact subject, we explain the underlying assumptions and encourage visitors to verify consequential results with an appropriately qualified professional.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to provide accessible tools for common questions involving mathematics, personal finance, fitness, health-related estimates, home projects, and independent work. We want visitors to be able to choose a tool, understand which values it asks for, see the result, and learn what that result does—and does not—represent.
The site is designed for a broad, international audience, including people managing household projects, small service businesses, freelance projects, and app-based work. Where a tool depends on a particular unit system, rate convention, currency source, or assumption, the relevant page should explain it so visitors can decide whether the result fits their situation.
How We Build and Review the Calculators
The calculators are implemented as web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Most arithmetic is performed in the visitor's browser after values are entered. Each tool is intended to identify its inputs, units, calculation approach, and important assumptions in the explanation below the calculator.
When maintaining a tool, we review the page structure, input labels, output formatting, unit conversions, edge cases, and whether the explanatory text accurately describes the code. We also rely on visitor feedback to find confusing labels, unexpected results, or errors that need another review. A review of the software is not the same as independent certification or clinical validation, and we will not claim that it is.
Transparency About Methods and Data
A calculator's output is only as useful as its inputs and assumptions. For that reason, the tool pages describe the method used where it can be identified, call out major exclusions, and distinguish fixed arithmetic from estimates. For example, loan tools may omit taxes or lender fees, and health-related tools may use population equations that cannot reflect every individual circumstance.
Some features use an external service. The Currency Converter requests reference exchange-rate data from a third-party provider. The QR Code Generator sends the entered text or URL to an external QR-image service to create the image. These pages explain those connections so visitors can avoid submitting confidential information to a feature that does not need it.
Health and Financial Responsibility
Health tools on CalcDaily provide general estimates and educational information. They do not diagnose, treat, or monitor a medical condition, confirm pregnancy, or replace guidance from a qualified healthcare professional. Individual needs can vary with age, medical history, medication, pregnancy, and other factors.
Financial tools provide arithmetic estimates or hypothetical projections based on the information entered. They may exclude taxes, fees, market changes, lender rules, inflation, or other costs unless a page says otherwise. They are not individualized investment, credit, lending, accounting, or tax advice. Review contracts and consult a qualified professional for consequential decisions.
Corrections, Questions, and Suggestions
We welcome specific reports about a calculator. The most helpful message identifies the page, describes the inputs used, explains what result was expected, and shows what appeared instead. Please do not send passwords, payment details, medical records, or other sensitive information. We review feedback to decide what needs investigation; submitting a report does not guarantee that a particular change will be made.

Tools for projects and independent work
CalcDaily includes practical estimators for home and do-it-yourself projects, material quantities, paint coverage, energy use, and travel fuel costs. It also provides planning calculators for freelancers, cleaners, day workers, delivery drivers, and other independent professionals, including pricing, project quotes, platform fees, invoices, and break-even scenarios. These tools use visitor-entered assumptions and explain the limits of each estimate.
