How the Income Tax Estimate Works
Enter annual gross income, deductions or allowances you want to subtract from that amount, and an effective flat tax rate. The calculator estimates taxable income, tax at the selected rate, and the amount remaining after that estimated tax.
Formula and method
Taxable income = gross income − deductions. Estimated tax = taxable income × flat tax rate. Estimated after-tax income = gross income − estimated tax.
Tips for better estimates
Use a rate that reflects the scenario you want to model and keep all amounts in the selected currency. For a real tax estimate, compare the result with your current tax authority guidance.
Important limitations
This is a simplified flat-rate estimator, not a jurisdiction-specific tax return. It does not calculate progressive brackets, credits, social contributions, payroll taxes, local taxes, filing status, or special deductions.
