How the Date Calculator Works
The tool compares two calendar dates without relying on the time of day. It reports the absolute number of calendar days, full weeks and remaining days, and weekdays between the dates. A separate adjustment adds or subtracts a whole number of days from the start date.
Formula and method
Calendar-day difference = end date − start date. Weekdays are counted one date at a time, excluding Saturdays and Sundays. Date adjustment = start date + entered number of days.
Tips for better estimates
Use ISO-style calendar dates and check whether the first or last day should be included for your particular deadline. Public holidays are not removed from the weekday count.
Important limitations
This is a calendar helper, not legal deadline advice. Business-day rules, public holidays, time zones, and inclusive counting conventions can differ by jurisdiction.
